Artist's Statement:
The work of Cuban born painter, Mildrey Guillot, is very much influenced by both her island heritage and the years spent in Spain after leaving her homeland. "My painting is figurative," she says, "based in emotions accumulated in myself and put through the strength and intensity of color on the canvas." Passion and color identify her work.
