Artist's Statement:
Most of my work over the past ten years has addressed Goddess archetypes and mythology. Presently, the paintings have evolved into three-dimensional, mixed-media pieces with an emphasis on form as well as content. The most current work combines canvas and oil paint, wood, sand, stones and ceramics to form altar-style paintings that incorporate sculptural elements.

These works use familiar, stylized images to suggest a spiritual world dominated by the presence of a feminine archetype presiding over her creation. The archetype of the Goddess is hidden in our collective psyche. These paintings are mirrors that arouse this prototypical memory within. It is through my art that I seek to evoke the recollection of our union with the creative force from which we had our beginnings.
